TIUA CCTV project

   TIUA have each section. section 5 and section 6 were doing CCTV project.
 They presentated about Japanese cluture.
 For example, Japanese calligraphy,Kendama,Taiko,Kamizumou on whatever..

 They were preparing for 1 month. My growup was Mami,
Ruji and Hayato. They introduced Japanese calligraphy.
 On 11th March, They did filming at CCTV. Most of TIUA students were \
very nervous.
Hoever,They did a good job!!!:) very good presentation activities!

My teacher also said them to good job!!

Salem Park

 On a spring day, The park at the state of capital Salem park is very beautiful!!
Because, there are a lot of cherry blossoms  there!.
and there is a  fountain where children are playing water and
running.

The cherry blossoms are soooo beautiful!

Tomodachi Family of TIUA (((Easter day:)))

Tomodachi Family invited Mami to go their house. They are very kind.Because, Mami have never experience Easter day! However,

 Easter day is very wonderful day!:)
 Easter day is one of the Christian festival.
They are looking for eggs around their house, outside, their rooms and so on.
Also, they're draw on  eggs and dry them.
Most of eggs made of chocolate. so they can eat them.

Why is rabbit decorate on the Easter day?
Because, on spring, Rabbits have bone baby.
Also,the animals have bone eggs. So, this day relation
rabbit and eggs.

this day, they go to the church. and then they pray to god.
after that each family eats dinner together.

Children are looking for eggs on this day!

It's so cute!:)))

Oregon State capital:))))

 The Oregon state capital is the building housing.
 The current building was constructed from 1936 to 1938 and expanded in 1977.

the construction of the newest building began on December 4 Th 1936. The third state capital was complected in 1938. The building have top of the Golden man. They can find this building near the Willamette
university.

This building was built in Ocober1 1938.

Fred Meyer

my favorite supermarket is "Fred Meyer".

its a  very big supermarket! also there are many customers shopping.
goods. it take almost 10 minute by the car. It spend almost 10$ from the WU to there
by the taxi. it's not far. But they plobabry shouldn't go to there on foot.
Because, they might buy a lot of the something goods. as a result, they are too tired to
go back to their dormitory.
There are many goods in this shop. For example, cloth,shoes,
jewelries,foods and drinks and so on.
Moreover, most of goods are very CHEAP!:)
Sometimes, they are difficult to look for something to goods.
However, they can ask an clerk to look for that they want to buy
something. so, they don't care about it.:)

Charly's

My favorite food is “Charly’s”. There is at the Salem center of 2 floors.

This is hamburger and sandwich shop.

 There are many kinds of food shop in the 2^nd floors.

However, I’d recommend this shop.

Because, this shop’s Clark at this shop are very kind of us.

They give very nice service.

For example, they ask custom that “Would you like another cup of juice?”

 it’s a very nice!!:)

They can eat  in front of shop where are many tables.

 It’s  a very nice food shop!!  

Adam's Rib SMOKE HOUSE

           

My favorite food place is Adam’s Rib SMOKE HOUSE in Salem. This shop is hamburger　shop.

They can order many kind of hamburger and side orders. Because,It’s easy to find this shop. Because, It only takes minutes to get there. This shop is like country design and put on a pig object. It’s interesting! xD 　customers can eat main hamburger and side menu (ex:Potato and mashed potato) and drink.

Everything tastes delicious.

Let’s go to the Adam’s Rib SMOKE HOUSE.

I like taking care of children:))

On every Tuesday and Thersday, i go to the comminity center for taking care of children.
I like children because, i like smile of children.
Even if  i'm tired to school, class and so on, they make me happy!:)
Actually, i'm lookin forward to seeing them.
I was going there at first time. I was so nervouse to meet them.
However, they were happy to welcome to me.
So, I was so happy to meet them. Many of children says "Mammmy, Mammmy!!!"
calling me like Mother. Its like funny cause, my name is "MAMI". So, some of children made
mistake my name.
But, i don't care about it cause, I'd care of them like mother.:)
They were very cute!:) I made friends! I was so glad !xD

I was playing ball , drawing picture teaching Japanese with children!
I was so enjoyed this time!xD

Finally,I want to be an English teacher for chirdren in Japan.
So, It is soo good exprlience for me do this volunteer activity.:)
I wanna learn children to do everything! i hope.

Sakura Festival!*))))

On April 9 th.
It was join in the Sakura festival at WU.and then
They were so intrerested in Japanese culture. So. i was glad that,

It went to the hold at 9:30. and then we were preparing them.
It was started at 12. Many people were join in the festival.


WU and TIUA were dancing the ソーラン節（so-ran-bushi）
Japanese cluture of dancing,
playing Taiko(drums),popurar dancing of japan and so on....
So,WU and TIUA were practicing dancing.




They ate takoyaki, toufu,sakura mochi.
it was sooooooo deliciouse!:) !!!
Every one could eat them!

They had a good time this festval! xDDD

LUA'U

It was start at 7 to 9.
there were lmost 10000 audience in the gym. Most of audience were veating Hawaiian food.
while they're wathing LUA'U. Unfortunatelly, we could't buy  a ticket for dinner and show.
When the LUA'U started at 7. there were two CM who explain about Hawaii.
They were many kind of Hawaiian cloth like vivid cloth.

 Some of dancing were very slowly.Some guys were dancing very fast.
They were dancing, singing, funny dancing and fire dancing and so on.
So,They were very excited and laughting!xD
Every one had a good time during LU'AU!!!!

POW WOW

On Sunday,They watched Pow wow. Annual event that hours the cultural richness of Native American.
 It was excited it. Because, Pow wows are the Native American people’s way of meeting to joy in dancing and singing and so on.

They watched it around 6:00 to 11:00.
Native American were wearing vivid closes, wearing
 wings hat, having drums and so on.

 They watched “Crand entry”, they then enter the arena accompanied
 by the Host Drum.

 According Pow wow booklet, the Indian flag and the state Flag. Flag are visible means of honoring all veterans from every battle or war.

 some of Drummers are playing drums around people are dancing.
It was so fun!

They were very excited during POW WOW!
